The reader would be great reading an American set book, but why oh why, Librivox, don't you pair up readers with books that fit their accent? You are trying to do a huge service to the world, but according to the comments, people listen for a minute or two and then stop, because some of the readers are not good. Sometimes it is because they are too old, or just not cut out for it, bless their hearts. But even when they are decent readers I sometimes still stop, because I want Sherlock Holmes or any other British book read by someone with a British accent! I want Grace Harlow books read with an American accent! It seems that with only a little bit more planning you could work it out that way. With Sci-Fi it doesn't matter. In space no one cares about accents.
