This was actually really well made. The "anime" high schoolers gave me more of a live action Japanese school drama feel than an anime one, especially the second one

The face while you said "I'm going to tell sensei" was absolutely perfect. I'm not one who easily laughs out loud but this one made me.

This is probably the quietest any of Sora's characters have ever been

Growing up in America we had a TV show called “Saved By the Bell” and I was very disappointed that high school was in no way like that show.

Thanks to Sora, weebs won’t be blinded by what they see in anime.

When I was a kid and they told me "TV isn't real life" I thought they meant the magic and crazy action and stuff, but as I got older I realized that they meant everything. The way people act with each other, the timing of events, etc... TV series are the evolution of theater plays, they're not really aiming to be like reality

I'm not Japanese nor living in Japan but I can relate it where teacher is asking "who knows the answer?" Lol

The rooftop thing.. I attended a Japanese high school for a year and we were actually allowed to go to the rooftop & around school freely once for the art class. I had an anime conversation moment with my crush in the rooftop actually, it was wild 🤣

the real life high school rooftop is relatable.

Oh my god, the irl classroom scene is perfect. The earphone in the sleeve, the blatant lying, the apathy

Yeah I have understood that schools in Japan strictly forbid students to go on the rooftop.

At my school, we had to dye our hair black or brown if we had any other colors. We also couldn't have any hairstyles that "pop out". I was allowed to bend that rule a bit because I'm black mixed with Japanese, so I was allowed to use cultural styles. But we also couldn't have many accessories with our uniforms, and we couldn't wear makeup. I feel jealous looking at anime high schoolers, but now I've been in American schools since 9th grade(?) and they just let you do whatever here

That part of studying at school in real life looked hilariously more like comedy anime lol 🤣

It’s nice to see that Sora’s calmed down a bit from his usual “yabainess” lol

The last one is literally like the first day in a new class here around is. Extremely awkward and short interactions. By the end of the year you're either friends with them or just know each other and never meet again when you graduate from school

The real high school students studying got me good. I was expecting the teacher to also not know the answer.

One day I'd like to see a clip about "high school at night vs anime" cause apparently every school in anime has no night security.

I had an "Oh, duh, they're teenagers" moment at the beginning of the video. It makes me wonder what some people in Japan misunderstand about Americans because of movies/shows. I'd like to think I'm less susceptible to these types of things since I'm an adult now, but even little things seem to still catch me off guard (e.g. Teenagers are still teenagers regardless where they live).

Honestly, these anime vs real life skits are one of my favorite videos that you make. It really show how dramatic anime can be 😂.

When I see kids in anime going on extravagant outings, like Disneyland, I always think their's no way they'd be able to afford that lol
