In this video we will take you to the virtual tour of most popular temples in Bali such as Tirta Ganga, Lempuyang Temple, Uluwatu Temple, Tanah Lot, and Ulun Danu Beratan.
Visiting these Balinese temples will let you get in touch with more than the Balinese Gods, and helps you understand the Balinese culture and the people of this paradise island
TIRTA GANGA WATER PALACE: It is located in eastern Bali, in Ababi village which almost 75 Kms far from Bali city center and 60 kms from Ubud and easily accessible by Taxi, Private Car and scooter. Tirta Gangga is an exquisite complex of aquamarine pools, fish ponds, fountains, and lush gardens and some beautiful Hindu and Buddhist statues. The main attraction of Tirta Gangga is its water garden pond with fountains and cascades which is connected by traditional water channels used for irrigation. Tirta Gangga is one of the best examples of Balinese culture and traditional architecture with carved pillars, archways and statues of gods lined through the palace’s pathways
LEMPUYANG TEMPLE: is one of the six holiest sites on the island, located on the south-west side of Mount Lempuyang in Abang district. The temple is a sacred place and one of the six holiest sites on the island, and it represents the phases of spiritual ascent as you climb Mount Lempuyang to reach the top. The main center of attraction is the Gates of Heaven as you can take most amazing pictures at the gate with background of Mount Agung
ULUWATU TEMPLE: It is vitally important to Balinese Hindus which is believed to protect the island from the evil spirits that seek to do it harm. It stands on the cliff side above Uluwatu Beach, keeping guard against the demons from the sea and it is one of the best places to watch a sunset or a kecak fire dance
TANAH LOT: It is an ancient Hindu shrine on a rocky island just off the coast. When the sun goes down at sunset, this sea temple becomes one of the most stunning sites on the whole of the island.
ULUN DANU BERATAN: It is a major Hindu Shaivite temple located in Bedugul region which is 2 -3 hour drive from Bali city center, Ubud and Kuta. The temple complex stands on beautiful grounds and is surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty on the shores of Lake Beratan in the mountains near Bedugul. The primary shrine sits on an island in the lake, and you can almost feel the spiritual aura of the place as you look upon it. The reflection of the temple in Lake Beratan is worth pursuing from a few different vantage points before you even get started inside
