Proposed lowrider ban draws protest from LA County residents

The community gathered at a Montebello City Council meeting to push back against a proposed lowrider ban.

Welcome to California, where yesterdays freedoms are today's crimes.
Ticket people who disturb the peace.
Require a residency parking permit.
Punish the illegal placement of traffic cones, (and bust them if they're stolen.)
But, Just like banning skateboards: Cruising is not a crime.
Maybe take note of what political party is trying to ban everything, and quit voting for that party!
Unfortunately, some voters just don't have the common sense to do so.

The Lowrider community is doing nothing wrong but the police just wanna harass cause that’s what they do best, the car shows where the community can come and enjoy looking at these beautiful cars. This is just ridiculous.
