Using CSS filters

CSS3 introducing a collection of standard filter methods to be used across all browsers. IE 6 had an early implementation of filters but now we have support across browsers for these methods and can replicate a lot of the things that you would typically do in Photoshop.

Are there any performance concerns with animating with filters or applying transitions (upon hover, etc.) with them? Thanks for the great video.
