Drivetrain simulation using RecurDyn

The crankshaft is driven by the power generated by the combustion of engine. This power is transmitted through the transmission. Gears were modeled using RecurDyn/GearKS and bearings were modeled using RecurDyn/BearingKS. The main and counter shafts were modeled using RecurDyn/Shaft. The gear misalignment can be accurately calculated by taking into account the gear teeth deformation, the change of gear meshing stiffness, the nonlinear stiffness of bearing, and the shaft deformation using RecurDyn.
