Articulated buses are in transit fleets in North America now !! Sixty foot and eighty foot long buses ! They have discs that allow the Cab of the bus (front part) to turn, with either mechanical linkages or electronic communication to allow the 'trailer' (back end) to trail behind and turn the corner following suit. Newer ones are controlled from the back and in sixty foot buses, the articulated discs have pistons to 'push' and 'pull' the 'cab' of the bus either left or right and control the turning angle in the rear section as well; All from the rear drive axle.
