Tiger stripped. On top smoked to a Rare, Med Rare. W a pinch of smoked sea salt & a cpl cranks on the course pepper mill.

It’s not different marbling. It’s the direction of the muscle fibers.

I think the tiger strips are better due to a more even distrubution of the fat

The bottom looks more appetizing. I know people love the A5 and it’s far but I’ve never liked the fat part of steak. The top looks like something I’d taste the bottom looks like something I can enjoy

I definitely like more meat than fat. Both look amazing!! But I’ll choose the bottom all day.

If I gotta be real, A5 is overhyped. I have had it 3 times and it was always amazing until the 4th bite or until you feel fat coursing through your veins. Also the melt in your mouth thing, not a big fan. It is cool that it melts in your mouth, but a whole piece of steak with no texture is pretty boring. This, truffle, and caviar are all the same. Cool to try once but really nothing to write home about.
