Just yesterday I watched a delightful movie called, ahem, Yesterday. It was sweet to see how moving the music of the Beatles could be even in a parallel world where they'd never been.

Mary is the tiny baby that Paul is seen holding on the cover of his very 1st solo album released in the fall of 1970. She was a cute baby and an even better looking grown woman.

I watched the documentary and i was very surprised that Giles Martin made a mistake in the history of The Beatles, at one point he said that The Beatles were signed by Decca records and that they made an album that was never released. They made an audition for them that was recorded, but they were rejected by the label.

History was made in Abbey Road studios and not just musical history, sociopolitical history too.The musical recordings done there were a revelation and continued the musical and social revolution begun at Sun Studios Memphis if not earlier. A lot earlier.
