Watched 3 videos before this insisting the full glove box assembly needs to be removed, this saved a lot of time and frustration

Thanks for the video. I just took my daughter's car in for an oil change and they wanted to charge me $50 to change the filter. I didn't even know it had a filter.

Thanks for the video! And I agree - that middle clip was the hardest part of the whole process. Finally had to use a little wrench to pry it up. Thought my finger was going to break off, even with gloves!

Yeah damn... I had a few oil change at a dealer and they said needed to change this and would cost me $170. I said hell no. After watching your video
I'm glad I said no. Doesn't look too hard to switch

After installing there is a buffering coming from the filter compartment now. Any reason why that could be happening? Re installed to see if anything was put in wonky buy it hadn’t changed

could this filter be the cause of a stale smell in the cabin. the car has done 52000 klms.

Thank you for the video. I successfully got my new filter in and found all the napkins I thought I lost in the glove box lol. When I turn my vent on, it started making a humming noise which wasn't there before. Any idea what that might be?

Took forever to get middle clip open - now I can't find where the clips attach to put the glove box back on :\

same as 2012 Cruze. .. easier to just squeeze sides of glove box after removing retaining wire. .. cabin filter had 3 clips. Easy enough my filter was filthy dirty at 50k

There must be some sharp edges in there to warrant wearing mechanix gloves...

Couldn't get the glove compartment in correctly...'re-install glove compartment' is completely vague and not helpful.
