Kamala Harris delivers concession speech at Howard University

Vice President Kamala Harris addressed the country from her alma mater, Howard University, after losing the 2024 presidential election to her opponent, former president Donald Trump.

Senate Democrats also lost seats in West Virginia and Ohio, allowing Republicans to take control of the chamber in 2025. Control of the House of Representatives remains up in the air and may not be known for days or even weeks.

If Republicans maintain control of the House of Representatives, it would be reminiscent of the 2016 election. That year, Trump won the presidency and Republicans won control of the House and Senate.

I'm very sad for the outcomes of this Presidential election, it wasn't the result I had hopes and prayers for but there's always next elections, right?

I've been a life long Republican but gladly and happily cast my vote for you and your running mate. I cannot in good conscience votes for your opponent! I have been taught to show love, respect and treat others same ways I'd liked tobe treated. These people may have won (bought) the White house this time around again but they do not deserved nor cared about our country or our democracy most of all, they don't believed in our rules of laws. I believed in Karma, these people will get their due justices at the end.
