Thank you. I speak a little German, this had me completely baffled. Love the dances that brought it out. So much fun.

Sadly, this song has been overplayed on social media, and many don't credit Bodo.

Native Dutch speaker here, compoundwords are the best, we have quite a few crazy ones too, but German surely mastered it to a superior level :-)

tongue twisters are so weird man, it’s like that one time where a news person was doing khazakstan tongue twisters and everyone thought that was how they actually spoke

I heard that song on a video and liked it right away even though I didn't understand a word of it. I looked up the English translation. It's actually a good song

I don't speak German. I've been following you for a few years and love your content. That song dropped on tiktok and I can't get enough of it 😂

I attempted to translate the tune on my FB page. It was hysterical!

First heard this song 3 months ago with my guard buddies as we were en route to the middle east for months. We had fun reading the translated words and laughed and enjoyed it immensely. Great beat and hilarious words.

My German teacher during my freshman year of high school, who was born in East Berlin in about 1950, was named Bärbel. 😊

Thank you. I thought it just sounded like nonsense when I first heard it. Now I understand it is actually real German words but still a bit nonsense as tongue twisters usually are.

Oh saw the dance you did. You were awesome.

Have you done your version of the dance yet?

We do this in Danish as well. I remember in school having to create the longest word we could think about. I think we got to 42 syllables, when we realized we could keep going.

Thank you. This song has been driving my nuts, and I grew to hate it. But now that I understand it, I can appreciate its creation.

Thanks, that puts things in perspective, I just thought it was the German Macarena song.

I first saw Rhubarb Barbra in Porsche training. I found it funny though It took my North American brain a second to realize it was a tongue twister.
