Rodman and MJ are the same but different. One is an assassin in shorts the other is an assassin disguised as a clown. Both players were cerebral, both were gym rats. One is a gambler and the other was a party animal. Both had weird growth spurt. Pippen was the icing. Those 3 didn't care, didn't talk to each other but they laid waste to whomever oppents were standing on their way. I can't forget that team, that era. I had recorded games on VHS tapes! Their game against Indiana were MJ, Pippen scored 40 pts and Rodman had 20plus rebounds, was amazing. Their series against, Miami Heat, New York was brutal, physical and awesome. When real men played real basketball.

For a person who didn't watch the Bulls To me what as hurt the NBA today is after Kobe retired NBA Offense's forgot how to play Basketball and started copying the Golden State Warriors playing style. After that I just checked out. SMH

That team Also had the best European player at the time Tony. They had Ron Harper and Steve Kerr who went on to win another title in other teams. It was definitely a super team. Not to mention Phill as head coach. Jordan was well taken care of other players of that generation didn’t stand a chance

The specialist they had on those teams were perfect. Pippen Harper and Rodman took so much defensive energy off of Mikes plate so he could play offense balls out. Kukoc could shoot. Longley could score and pass well enough to keep the defense honest

Rodman was a huge difference for the Bulls. In 1995 they lost Horace at PF, and with no dominant center they were vulnerable in the front court. In 1996 they brought in Rodman plus Harper went from 6 mins to 27 mins in the playoffs and the team was much different. Even Luc in the 1996 playoffs was avg 8-5-2-1 in 22 mins. You add guys like MJ, Pippen, Kukoc, Kerr along with the best coach ever in Phil and that team was unstoppable!
