I live in the Poconos. Sadly there are so many abandoned resorts in the area. It used to be many many wooded areas, little traffic and a great place to get away from it all. Now it's getting so built up it's so sad

I honeymooned here. We didn't have much money after paying for our own wedding in 1988, so we came here for a few days. It was pleasant enough, and what I loved most was the heart-shaped pool in a temp-controlled separate room. One of my friends asked if the champagne glass looked like "pressed ham" from the bottom when someone was in it. lol (no, the bottom of it was frosted)

My mother was a musician & played in bands up there my entire life. They called her the first lady of the Poconos.

this place used to be part of my training grounds for various marathons. ran around the poconos quite a bit. good times.

Look up cove haven... it have the EXACT same wine glass room but its just back in order now. The same staircase fireplace everything...

I’m pretty sure this is the summit resort in Tannersville PA. I used to work there in the early 2000s. The Poconos has now become the six borough of New York City .

Yup went there after the wedding in 1997. We had the luxury suite. We had a mini pool inside with a sauna.
