I was wondering why everyone on youtube is playing this at the tip of the bow, then I checked my score, and Piatti actually wrote “Sulla punta d’arco”
oups, I might have missed an important detail playing this.

I love this study. It's so hard to isolate the notes to bring out the melody and just when you are starting to get it, your arm falls right off... I love the way he plays this.

I'm a great fan of yours Josh but the lower notes are eighths, not sixteenths. This is supposed to be a study in partial double stops.
