For anyone buying: BUY NEW FROM MICROSOFT STORE, NOT USED OR FROM AMAZON! Microsoft gives the MateDock, many amazon sellers do not. In some cases people reported bent USB Ports when bought from third party sellers. Buy direct from Microsoft!

It’s a best laptop in 2019. Nothing has the same offers from other brand. As the thin blaze also thunderbolt port 3:2 3k screen fast changing and good battery life. Took me month to search where I can get from Australia. End got it from DHgate app. Reasonable price. Hope I will get it soon.

Nb. You've linked to Amazon UK for purchasing the Matebook X Pro 2019 in the UK, but this model hasn't been released in the UK or Europe yet so there are only results for the old 2018 model on Amazon UK, and the US Ebay link is a seller from China, so those won't come with a US warranty.

I'd be interested to know how the 2019 copes under load though, as the 2018 model has an awful issue with overheating and becomes too hot to use on your lap.

I've owned 2 Matebooks, and had 2 fried motherboards in 2 years. Lovely looking machine. Terrible longevity.

I have started university a few days ago (informatics engineering) and I have realized that I’m going to be programming and using computes much more often than I thought.

As this problem started, I started looking for good laptop and right now I’m in love with Huawei Matebook X Pro, but I want to do the right choice and I saw also very good laptops such as Asus Zenbook S13, Lenovo ThinkPad brand or even Matebook 13 but as this last one don’t have USB port I didn’t really wanted to buy it...

Can some one help me doing this choice? Thanks you btw :)
