This video explains what the levers under the Baxi 800 Combi boiler actually do.

From left to right:

Black Lever: Heating Flow
Yellow Lever: Gas into the Boiler
Black Lever: Cold Mains into the Boiler
Black Lever: Heating Return
Small Green Lever: This is for increasing the pressure on the heating system

That first pipe on the left with the white plastic bit facing the front has a nut behind it. I saw it drip water today where the nut is. After few days of installing a new one. Shall I call the engineer back or see if it repeats again?

How would you bleed the hot water that goes to your taps? My hot tap in the kitchen has terrible water pressure. All my other taps/ahower are fine

Hello i have a question. I have the same EPH CONTROL switch and the same boiler. When i press on Manual it turns green but then turns off and becomes red after a minute. Im having issue to turn the heater on. The fire symbol on the Baxi comes on and goes away. Should the EPH control always stay green if i press on Manual button?

If I have a leak in my central heating system and I want to stop water from flowing into it... Do I switch off that first lever on the left? Assuming this is so, how do I then drain the rest of the water out of the Central heating system... at a radiator or at/from the boiler?

Is the yellow tap to turn the gas off to the boiler? Iv gotta have a new heat exchanger on my potterton titanium 28 because it’s leaking and I’m worried the engineer will need to go to other rooms in my house because I’ve had no covid jab because of my health issues. I’m hoping he only needs to be at the boiler only to do the job. Even that’s a worry because the boiler is upstairs and obviously I’ve gotta go upstairs to bed. Covid really has wrecked my life, not been out of the house in almost 4 yrs now! Any help would be very much appreciated. Kind regards.

What happens when the Black lever cold to the mains and the black lever returns are down... Does that stop the boiler from working and does it also affect the water level/amount coming from the hot water taps????

is their a lever or anything I can do to stop the pressure gauge rising. I did bleed the radiators which did turn the pressure down but straight away started rising again?
