can I ask, when you have the 2 equation and you'll need to multiply it, is it okay if we multiply -1 in any of the 2 equation or does it have to be the lower term or higher term?

Instead of doing ot yourself you can just insert the value in gdc after forming the 2 equation in simultaneous equations.
