I just bought this gizmo at Walmart on clearance for $12 but didn't realize until I got home he doesn't work / turn on. I cleaned his battery compartment with 90% rubbing alcohol with qtips then tried at least 6 different pairs of new double A batteries. Wondering if there's a way how to kick start him some how or if he's completely dead. I did find it a little odd he wasn't in his box & sitting on the clearance shelf when I got him. The tabbed was already pulled on his battery compartment & his original batteries were still in him which I didn't realize until after getting him home & trying to turn him on. I called Walmart & they said I could return him in a 30 day time frame I don't think I will only because I like gizmo from the gremlin movies. Also he's tiny & doesn't take up space. My mind is boggled as to how to get him to turn on though. Even blew air on the battery compartment like the old super nintendo games lol~ 🤣🤦‍♀️✌️
