When this was released, i said "This is ME!" I felt understood. Thanks PREP!

I live in a city, on the 15th floor of a building. During the pandemic, my partner left for work overseas and i was left alone. I was cooped up in my apartment, waiting for calls, watching cars, taking photos of the sky, watching TV overnight because its hard to sleep. Too lonely being alone and not being able to go out. I started to hate the city. Id dream of going back to my hometown, where life was simpler.

This song was released months after i left the city to take a much needed vacation (for myself!) in my hometown, just a few walks to the beach.

Such a good jam!! I don't know how PREP does it but they really write songs about heartbreak in a feel-good kind of way.
