At the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Jennifer Hudson, performed “If I Could Turn Back Time” in tribute to Cher, recipient of the Icon Award. Cher then performed “Believe,” and was joined by Hudson at the end of the song.

I love the handoff. They obviously had a conversation and Cher said to her "be yourself." Cher is phenomenal, and always will be. What this performance was is an acknowledgement of a new generation, and doing it with grace. Age happens. This will be timeless.
