I thought the black wasn’t it either but final view from standing back it gives the shadow effect from its own light. Phenomenal

I like it when you point out your own mistakes because I think it teaches other graffiti artists that it's okay to make mistakes and teaches us what to look out for more often such as proportion, the D scooping lower than the E etc.

All of yall saying it was horrible how he covered up the others work.
I once saw a huge panting on a wall with all the past layers of pain scraped up to make a completely new image.
Covering up other art to make mew stuff is completely normal. It's a public wall that's going to probubly get cleaned by police at some point anyways, that's why there are videos to rmeber the art works. They dont last forever.

Should have done the shadow effect earlier, that way the glow effect wouldn't be covered up by it

It's normal to tag over other tags/pieces/throwups in graffiti. Nothing is permanent, everything gets tagged over eventually.
