Poco F6: FIRST LOOK and HANDS-ON!

This is the @poco_uae F6 and I think it’s a huge improvement over its predecessor on a number of fronts. For me, its design stands out but more than that, its performance and how it’s on par with flagships that are much more expensive is crazy! Do you think this is the budget smartphone of the year?

For people having heated arguments about which is better between poco f6 and x6 pro. Just know that while the poco f6 has a better soc, it is still not optimized enough and may not be up to your expectations such as the realme gt 6 that also has an 8s gen 3 which was REALLY good. In my experience, poco f6 still has some frame drops while playing heavy games such as codm and hoyoverse games like genshin etc, and the poco x6 pro may be a bit more stable with less frame drops.

But if i put on a cooler, the poco f6 easily wins with the help of disabling joyose from limiting the performance. So basically, if you want the currently optimized and for camera uses, go for the x6 pro. If you prioritise gcam for photos and have a cooler for heavy gaming, pick up the poco f6 to maximize it's potential. I got an average of 1.6m antutu score when putting it in the freezer lol.

Does HDR and dolby vision work properly for you? I heard that its not working properly, atleast in YouTube. Also could you check if it has official licenced hdr in prime video and netflix?

Don’t waste your money with F6 - buy the very similar Poco X6 Pro instead or if you want more then buy the F6 Pro😉
