Zante and Karpenisi. 2 awesome Greek places you should visit while in Greece. Karpenisi is considered from Greeks more of an autumn and winter destination (that does not mean it is not a good idea to visit in the summer also!) while Zante is kind of an all year destination. Karperini is in mainland Greece and is one of the most beautiful (and very well known to Greeks) Greek villages while Zante is one of the most famous Ionian Islands.
