I spent 150 HOURS looking for this one shiny starter in Pokémon Crystal [virtual console]

I've never carried out a shiny hunt for a starter before, and I've never hunted in a gen 2 game. So I did both, spending 150 real life hours hunting for a shiny Cyndaquil in Pokémon Crystal (Virtual Console).

This hunt nearly broke me.
