Ok, this is pretty cool.
In part 2 , Paul Calleja (CTO of GlobalM), walks us through and demonstrates how GlobalM with their unique mobile apps for iOS and Android can bring live streaming and broadcasting quality from the device.

How?? Well, using SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) protocol which is an open source platform developed by Haivision. GlobalM is able to securely and reliably over the public internet takes a video and audio, using SRT, and what we call video backhaul, the live stream into GlobalM's content delivery network.

This gives us you as Paul demonstrates using vMix which also uses SRT, pull the live feed to capture or live stream for a variety of production needs.

But it doesn't stop here, think of a team of freelance journalists or other platform as a social network of contacts. Um, let's see if Fred or Mary are near by geo mapping their location via mobile device.
