With prices of FPV components iin 2022 continuing to increase and seemingly with no relief, I decided to look for a cheaper solution to getting into the air.
Introducing the TCMMRC UR26 Mermaid 220.
In this video, I go through what comes with this quad, the downsides to it (straight out of the box), and my plans to tear it down, upgrade, and rebuild it from the bottom up again. Hopefully this becomes a reliable backup basher!
Albert Kim does a great review of this quad where he leaves it all as stock, with a few minor tweaks in the Betaflight settings, he is able to get this thing ripping around the fields. Go check his video out!
