Biker Tommy Colston (Scott Pryor) is a hopeless addict. When Tommy discovers he has a long-lost daughter named Tulsa (Livi Birch), he reluctantly welcomes the nine year-old into his home, but tries to keep her out of his heart. The head-strong little girl attempts to use her strong faith to save Tommy from his addictions and the demons of his past. When tragedy strikes, Tommy is forced to face his demons and attempts to become the father of Tulsa’s dreams. Inspired by true events, “Tulsa” is a funny and heartwarming story of redemption, family and forgiveness, even in the darkest times.

Need a movie to feel good in a world that could be so troubling? Take 2 hours away from it all and watch the movie Tulsa. Great script, fantastic talent, almost the antithesis of the modern day movie. Incorporating a belief in a higher power, while provoking thought, emotion and reality in a modern day movie is a forgotten art form. Ms Birch reminds me a lot of a young Tatum O'Neil. Natural, God-given talent transcending the make believe into reality. She stole my heart. The screen writers of this movie gave her a script that was wholesome, but not corny. Child-friendly, but confronting many of today's perils and tribulations, that all adults can appreciate, while they watch this movie with their children. I gave up on watching movies nearly 20 years ago, but this movie is a reaffirmation that motion pictures can be made with spiritual sensitivity, and enjoyed by all. The seamless symmetry of a multi cultural cast is also refreshing. Enjoy this movie. I certainly did.

This reminds me of our relationship with our Lord and savior. This also reminds me of my daughter and my husband (not his biological) but he says "she not my blood but my soul child" he's an hard core army veteran but she makes him melt all the time it wasn't an easy relationship at first but they love eachother like crazy now shes 8 and hes 52 well all got saved last year feb. If a movie trailer can make you tear up omg beautiful can't wait to see

I was in my prayer closet when the ad for "Tulsa" came on YouTube. As I watched the short ad, God's love welled up from my innermost being and the tears flowed also. So, I searched more info of the movie on YouTube. I shared the official trailer on my FB and quoted Malachi 4:6a, NIV: "He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents." Amen. Thanking our Sovereign LORD and all of you for this beautiful and touching movie. "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" (1 Cor. 10:31, NIV). Amen.

I saw Tulsa when it came to theaters and, honestly, did to me what no other movie did. For me the climax was in the very middle, and it was the most unexpected moment ever. It ripped my heart out instantly. I was in shock. The ending was very, very bittersweet, but I think the movie did a phenomenal job preparing me for the bitter part. Then the epic plot twist at the very end--anyway Tulsa's a great movie.

I recently read a review of this film calling it syrupy and too much Christianity. Are you kidding me? This is exactly what we need right now.
What do they prefer we watch? Everything out there is full of violence and dark. How dare they criticize this film. It’s wonderful
