Oh.
They've been "condemned".
Any *real* consequences?

Boeing didn't "learn" anything. They knew full well what they were doing. Any reasonable failure mode analysis would have turned up the problem. No system should have a catastrophic failure mode that stuffs a plane into the ground.

let's give em a bailout, that'll teach em

They created the problem by sloppy engineering targeted to avoid regulation, they cut their own throat. The max is unworthy of flight with the engines needing over corrections because its on a poor frame design, it should never fly again.

I want to see Muilenburg, his Management and the head of FAA in Jail for the murdering of 346 innocent victims

Boeing also offered the new CEO earlier this year $7mil if he can get the plane off the ground. Tell me that isnt incentive to cut corners again

As code moves more into Artificial Intelligence, I do not expect the FAA to have the qualifications to analyze and diagnose complex computer code and it's interaction with electronics and machinery. It is too far above the capabilities of their bureaucracy.

A problem that could possibly be corrected, according to some pilots, with a $5 switch.

The 737 max should be renamed to 737 nightmareliner.

There is a fundamental conflict of interest between any entity driven by profit making and the public good simply by its mere existence, that is why the role of watchdog and regulatory agencies is so essential and vital in providing the checks and balances required to prevent corruption and disasters like the Boeing 737 Max.
When watchdog agencies become corrupt or In the absence of effective controls and regulations human life becomes worthless.

Save yourself the trouble and fly on an Airbus! Don't do business with companies/countries that puts profits before lives.
