Draw was a moral victory for WI: Their fielding was off, but when not lackadaisical they were competitive. Highlight of the day was Stubbs & Athanaze: Those innings were equal to centuries in the context of the game. Seales, Roach, KG, Ngidi, Warrican & Maharaj impressed; only Brathwaite, Holder & Markram need some corrections. Even de Zorzi turned heads, but needs better efforts. SA were more switched on, but WI team balance looks better than it has for ages.

Rain ruined this test. They should have at least done three test matches instead of two. Or have a Reserved day if rain completely washes out a day.
Like a two match series is pointless. England, Australia or India always get to host more matches

Brathwaite needs a much needed rest.
He has been going at it for quite some time. It’s okay to sit out a couple series.

Loving the Hodge-Athanaze duo in the middle and Holder coming in with some flair. Would have loved to see D’Silva bring his finesse in too.

Might as well make Holder the C and play a couple series and let Louis and Someone else open in place of Brathwaite.
