Kilian Jornet Phantasm 24 hour Running Challenge | Official Trailer

No mountains, no obstacles, no finish line. Just a flat track and 24 hours on the clock. After months of preparation, the time has finally come. Starting Friday, November 27th at 10.30am CET, Kilian Jornet will race against five top-level athletes for 24 consecutive hours on a quiet track in Norway.

Completely different challenge for Mr Jornet and I think he will do his absolute best (which will probably be exceptional). Worth considering that with the 24 hour event there is a lot that can go wrong, but physiological and psychological. It will take all his natural talent and experience to be successful in this. I wonder if they will change direction, as there is no set protocol. And who is he up against? Bon courage to all the athletes.

Personally I think that this is a very stupid and boring attempt that would bring nothing to Kilian's great accomplishments. I wonder if behind all this recent fixation by Kilian with running on flat surfaces there's Salomon push for selling road shoes ...

I give him 260 k, not more. Well, I like & follow him since his 2010 Western States Run, but the track is so boring, no competition, no change of movement..
