Former Trump campaign deputy Rick Gates testified in Paul Manafort's trial Monday. It comes on the same day the White House announced it was reimposing trade sanctions on Iran, and as the president deals with fallout from a tweet about a meeting at Trump Tower in 2016. Sabrina Siddiqui, CBSN political contributor and political reporter for The Guardian, and Kevin Cirilli, Bloomberg's chief Washington correspondent Kevin Cirilli, join CBSN's "Red and Blue" to discuss Monday's top political headlines.

I'd bet $5 that the pardon that Paul Manafork is replying on will not happen. Remember "I'd like winner" attitude of POS POTUS? He'd even look down on POW. I don't think he'd stay loyal to any one going to prison.

Here is a challenge to all networks. Develop a series of short civics features to explain democracy to our under informed populace.

when is the news going to cover something people actually care about? These people have nothing to do with anything currently happening around the world or in this country.
