The actors in this clip are effective. I can even feel their pain🥹

This amazing song deserves a second life. The first life in 1978 was cut short when radio stations wanted to play "Copacabana" and skip past a ballad. So this treasure was pushed aside. It stills sounds as fresh today as the first time I heard it back then. Love you Barry.

This song has been breaking my heart for nearly 50 years. Every time I hear it I am reminded of a time in my life very similar to this. And my heart breaks again.

I am a 60 yr old woman and I have loved Barry Manilow since I was in grade 7! I will always be a fan...ALWAYS! His songs still make me feel good even after all these years! The same songs that made me feel something all those years ago, still make me feel the same! ❤❤😘😘

Out of all of his sings, this one is hands down the one that resonates with me the most. It casts you back to the past and the people who were in your lives and then gone...and you get swept up in the thought of where they are now and if they might think of you as well..😢

This song is of course a masterpiece and deserves such a brilliant music video. Gorgeous and moving.

I am 62 today and have loved Barry’s music since I was 16. This song has been my favorite for a long long time, and this video has brought me to tears. Even now, when i have come so far and my life has been so good, sometimes I Still remember some “chapters” of my youth and it still hurts. This is my song, and I really am this man from the video!!!! And these feelings come to me every time I hear this song… Wow!!!!

This song stayed sticking in my head after the loss of those closest to me. I've been a Barry fan since i was knee high to a grasshopper thanks to my mom who was lucky enough to meet him. Im glad this song was given a second life because it deserves it.

Simply amazing Barry. I've always loved this song and nearly 50 years later this song and the video brought me to tears. Absolute perfection.

After watching this video many times, I booked tickets for me and my best friend to see him in Vegas for my 54th birthday. It’s been 30 years since I’ve seen him in concert. Can’t imagine a better birthday present!!!! I’ve been singing and dancing to Barry since I was 5 years old. Plan to do the same until the day I die ❤

When I saw the "teaser" for this video last week or so, I had no idea it would be like this. What a perfect way to do it. Well done.

It's been 47 years since this song came out, and 45 since she left me. And all that's left are a handful of photographs. I know what happened in the end; she's gone now and that cannot change. But I still remember, and as long as I do that, she's never really gone.

I'd really like a NEW album of songs like THIS. 1978 was a great year and Barry was at his best! the first 6 albums were my favorite and while I like the newer stuff too I REALLY would like a new album of THIS type of songs again.

Have loved listening to Barry Manilow since Mandy. All the songs that followed have also been wonderful. Spent so many hours playing his music on any piano I could find. Thank you Barry for the music you gave to us.

If we could only take those feelings from 1978, rekindle that romance and innocence into today's life full of complications...imagine the joy we may be able to recreate . .

It is so good to know that Barry is still so loved. I grew up listening to his songs, this one in particular, as it came out the year I was born, and the same year my mothers best friend died. It had special meaning for her, and thus for me, too. Many long and sometimes painful years have passed since the lazy days of my childhood ended, and while a great many things have changed, my love for this man and his music has not, nor will it ever. Thank you, for bringing light and love into my life so often, and for so long, Barry.

Barry's music hit all the wounded parts of me. Growing up in a severely abusive environment, I used his music as my escape and my inspiration for a lifetime of poetry writing.
Thank you, Barry. Your music saved the life of a very lost little girl.

Although I love all of Barry Manilow’s music and know just how popular his upbeat songs were incredible, it’s his ballads that touch my heart most. Songs like this one and Weekend in New England bring me to tears every time. Just magical.❤
