Odoo studio - Customize Odoo the way you want

Would it be possible to use Studio to create different 'flavors' of Odoo's standard CRM, i.e. not create apps from scratch but to customize the CRM to be the core of 3 different new apps? The idea is to support different sales teams. The data end should connect to the 'regular' CRM database. This is useful if an organization has different lines of business such as parts distribution, services, and custom manufacturing. The sales approach will be different for each, so the respective sales team will benefit from a specialized CRM that focuses on their specific needs.
