RWBY Theory - Nora the Alien

The RWBY Universe has expanded with the reveal that Team RWBY has been sent to another Realm and if other realms exist, then perhaps there are others that have crossed over before, maybe even relating to someone we know well...

Nora being a Royalty would be awesome with her sentence "I'm Queen of the Castle" and "Off with their heads"

And with the theory of the island being Wonderland, maybe she's the daughter of the Queen of Hearts 🤔🤔🤔

Interesting, could explain why Nora is extremely stronger than other people without her semblance. Also if that happens would funny when Jaune makes it back to Remnant, walks straight to her and says “Uh Nora, we need to talk!”

This fits with what we were told in Lusus Naturae as well (that being a theme used for the nuckalavee):

How am I just now realizing this, remember the RWBY CHIBI short when Nora was the workout coach and Yang made the comment saying that Nora wasn’t human or did anyone else notice

Nora’s last name is Valkyrie. So it’s possible she’s from a realm called Valhalla.

I'm calling it now, Nora Valkyrie is a demigod!

She can harness the power of lightning, which is an elemental/ natural force often associated with the gods in many myths and legends (i.e. Zeus and Thor). Based on her name, weapon and a couple aesthetic choices, she is Norse inspired and may have some connection to a thunder god of an ancient polytheistic religion on Remnant.

Nora also has a heart motif and aesthetic going on so, if we assume that the world she and the main cast find themselves in is some twisted version of Wonderland, she may have blood ties to a Queen of Hearts style character in the world. Nora literally has hearts patterned on her combat skirt and sometimes when she fires all her grenades at once it makes a heart shaped poof at the end of her launcher barrel.


My bet is one parent was a thunder god and the other was "Hearts Royalty" for lack of a better term. One just happened to have the Nuckalavee tailing them. Plus Nora's mothers willingness to abandon her child to the Grimm lines up with the ruthlessness the Queen of Hearts is known for in Wonderland.

Interesting, It's a good possibility. Would be a way for the others to get back to Remnant would provide more story option to look into if exploring the other realms is a possibility.

There is another factor is that Ren masked her from the grim while they escaped. The nukleave (sp?) could have been waiting for the trail to refresh, or thought she parished and had no way of getting back to the other realm? May be?

The other thing that I found odd Qasim whrn Ren was taking vengeance out on the creature, it seemed to be showing fear. This isn't something expressed in other grim. Granted, they weren't pinned down and having bits cut into them with a knife, but still I got the feeling the nuckleave ( again I'm too lazy to looke up the spelling right now) looked like it was cowering from Ren as he listed the people he was avenging.

The Grimm coming from another realm makes sense. We seen them come from the black puddles in the lands where Salem Resides.
We also see the Giant tree at the end of Volume 8 that hints at another realm. So we are already looking at 3 different planes of existence if the Grimm truly come from another place

Nukleave could have lost track of Nora after ren awoke her aura at the same time as he used his semblence on her, as it may have shielded or suppressed her 'other realm-ness'?
