So basically what this is guys on a car open loop is a set program in the computer that runs for a set time depending on how cold it is outside once that program is completed it goes to open loop where the sensors on the vehicle start reporting back to the computer telling the computer what too adjust. Open loop computer in control closed loop sensors are in control simple as it gets
