In indian media we have 100's of channels for every state.
Good part is one doesn't like another and we know where to find the good news.

It can be due to a variety of reasons. First, due to rampant polarisation people from across the political aisle are divided into silos meaning their engagement with different political thought is shrinking. Second, most of the digital and print media is owned by business magnates. They push their commercial interests by compromising editorial policy or even use it as a leverage.

It's not American media, any media. That includes FirstPost as well.

There is no trust in Indian media as well. Majority if not all are left leaning and some are proud communists and they do discriminate when reporting news. They take liberties with their facts and have shown one side of the truth. I am voracious news reader, but have diversified my intake of news between 2 papers(communist, hard left as there are no right wing supporting news papers) and digital media. Maybe I am ambivalent about Indian media as I had the opportunity to interact with journalists from print media, and I do hope that they leave their political bias in future, else they will cease to exist.

Have been following Palki for a long time. But I don't agree with this one!The reason for lack of trust is because people are not paying money to encourage genuine channels? Come on, it should be the other way round isn't it? Media channels should be impressing people with their quality content and attracting funding. When media channels prioritize revenue more than 'news' it is a starting point for degradation.

Palki indirectly tells us pay us or shut your comments on our biased report.😂

Traditional news companies might not have pushed for pay-per-view system probably they believed ad revenues will keep coming.

Traditional media is dying. After this US election they will loose there significance. Well First Post is owned by Mukesh Ambani.
