They played this at my father’s funeral yesterday. He was born in November, died in November and his funeral was a rainy day in November. He loved autumn and this is the most beautiful autumn I can remember.

This brings tears to my eyes. The heartfelt vocals and the laconic simplicity of the arrangement that backs it all is a masterpiece of pace, structure, and musicianship. I've followed these guys and their amazing covers for years and they never fail to touch me in some way. These are serious musicians and demand to be followed and loved by all.

Purity of Sound. Clean instruments, strong clear voices without needing to PUSH it, or dramatize the vocals. Love to hang for a southern crab boil and listen to them play !

The combination of the quality of the lyric, the simple skilled bluegrass interpretation and the artful concept and execution of a heartfelt AND hilarious video is the alchemy of that “secret sauce”. Chef’s kiss my friends.

For years I have been listening to you for free on YouTube, I was pretty much broke, but now I am working again, I will buy your music, that's how you repay their generosity, you buy the music

Viewing for the first time in 2024, I was able to hear the lyrics without the overpowering instruments. I have a greater appreciation of the talent of GnR, and gratitude for your presentation and style. Well Done.

When this guy started singing, my jaw Hit the Floor. Why does he not sing more often? His voice is a beautiful instrument like no other

OMG! The banjo player's voice is so awesome! He needs to sing more. They are all so talented!

The reason that this is SO FRIGGIN GOOD is that these guys can actually play, and sing. Perfect!!

Dear lord I love the banjo player's voice. This is one of my favorite older songs and I really like this cover. I like both of their voices, but that deep rumble with this song is really fantastic and really great with the lighter high pitched voice and music.

I'm from rural Kentucky, and this pretty much looks and sounds like home. Just bought tickets for your show next month in Somerville, MA!

This song breaks my heart. She was born in November and she was the love of my life. She's 72 now. I'm 61. I'll miss you forever.

Wow, unexpected emotional trigger when the guy spat on the whetstone, I had not seen anyone do that since my Dad... it's nearly twenty years since he's gone. We used to work together outdoors such a lot. Now my tears..

I'm Finnish and I used to live in Texas, but this was a hit in Finland. I got to know the song years later. I learned to play in the chapel. It's just good and it's Finnish culture.

Saw them in Pittsburgh, Pa. August 30, 2018.  The nicest five guys you ever met.  And...I have NEVER heard a band as tight as these guys were live.  YouTube does not do them justice - buy the CD's...amazing mixing.

This song brings more tears to my eye than moonshine distilled through a garden hose.
