Found out I'm related to him a couple years ago, didn't know much about him so this is really helpful to learn more about my relatives.

I live in NC born in Greenville SC. My mother was born in Ninety Six a small town mostly forgotten now. Great video on people who risked all they had and the hangman’s noose so we could have our freedom.

This is the great man that my hometown was named after! Greensboro, NC! They have a nice historical park in Greensboro dedicated to the battle of guilford courthouse. It’s a must see if you love history.

Nathaniel and Catherine Greene are a couple of my personal heroes. I go to Nathaniel's grave site every day as part of my historical walking tour and I've just always found him delightful.

Nice "Sunny in Philadelphia" reference (it's always sunny there, I'm told). Fascinating video about a fascinating character.

Boston dumped tea in the harbor, Rhode Island burned an armed revenue cutter to the waterline.
My family has lived in Rhode Island for 14 generations and I grew up in Coventry and live in Warwick and it's usually fun to see anything of Rhode Island history pop up. Also the Nathanael Greene Homestead is still maintained as a museum in Coventry and Gaspee Days are a late spring event celebrated with a parade, walkathon and the burning of the Gaspee in effigy. Plus that Kentish Guards post still stands as a branch of the Warwick Public Library.
It would also be great to see a Biographic of Roger Williams, the founder of Rhode Island.

It just blows my mind to consider the nearly unimaginable world that would exist if these men didn't stand up to and defeat, at the time, the most powerful empire in the world. Everything that has happened since, especially in the last century and a half, would be so vastly different. Too many Americans are really losing or have lost sight of how lucky we are to even exist. We have to stop taking it for granted.

He proved to be a talented quartermaster. And then became an excellent combat commander.

The Southern Campaign is a textbook example of “you can lose the battles, but still win the war in the end.”

Eli Whitney deserves a video, if he hasn’t gotten one already.

13:57 An IT Crowd reference? In *my* Biographics? Next you'll be telling me about a fire at Sea Parks!

Since you did a Quaker here, could you also do one on The Public Universal Friend? The story is very intriguing to me

Do one on Peter Francisco "The Portuguese Giant" of the American revolutionary war. He was 6'8 tall monster of a man who allegedly saved an 1100 pound cannon during a battle by shouldering it. He carried a six foot broadsword into battle.
