Help Me Choose Between These 2 Alto Sax Necks

Me personally, I would choose the silver one. It has a more purer tone. The bronze is also great, it's just that it has a brighter tone.

I would choose the silver, personally. I prefer the edge to the sound compared to the bronze (which also sounds great!)

Solid silver hand hammered is more suited for jazz. Definitely my go-to sax neck.

Just like choosing reed strength, or chamber/tip opening on a mouthpiece, it all comes down to the job at hand.
The bronze was warmer on the long tones, the silver brighter as you danced through the notes.
I'd call these tools in the toolbox, to be used as needed.

It would really depend on what kind of tone you are looking for. The Silver gives a clear and bright tone, while the Bronze feels warmer, more cozy, if you will. For an Alto Sax, I'd probably want the Silver, but if I were looking for a Warmer tone, I'd stick with my Tenor Sax anyway. So, Silver it is!

😮i dont know if im have to stay happy or not, maybe to be happy is a good way for easy lifes, but for the hardests like the mine stay serious. But i dont cry so much. I only live.
