My favorite has to be funnel cakes. It was always a childhood treat to go to the fair and get a funnel cake with my parents. After spending a few years in Michigan and being away from funnel cakes I'm so happy that I was able to get one last year and remember the good times with my family! So many memories in that sweet treat! Always the best with powdered sugar. Love you Laura!

Growing up in New Jersey we always went "down the shore" on vacation. We went to Belmar when we were younger and then we started to go to Wildwood Crest. As you know, the boardwalk there is incredible. And then taking my own kids there for many years brought back such nice memories. The sounds and smells of the boardwalk are like nothing else. My childhood favorite was always a red candy apple. Funnel cakes with lots of powdered sugar, curly fries from Moreys Pier with vinegar, cheese steak, sausage "sangwhich", soft serve ice cream cone dipped in tons of sprinkles, Sam's pizza....I'm making myself sooo hungry. Great memories of my sister and I and our parents, aunt, uncle and cousins and later all our children. Haven't been in years..might have to do a summer road trip. "Watch the tram car please!"

Snow cones....I have loved them since I was a kid. You can choose different colors/ favors and they are perfect for the summer. I would actually eat them any time of the year because they are so simple to make!

I love the Boardwalk foods. Such a treat to go and see all the different foods they have. Love the smells. But my all time favorite is the lemon aid and funnel cakes!

At the Minnesota State Fair a day isn't complete without a hot, deliciously bad container of deep fried cheese curds. They are salty, crispy, chewy and fabulous. And with a cold beer or a tangy lemonade it's heaven on earth.

Coming from a hispanic family and growing up around spicy foods and chile's, I was always accustomed trying different dishes with a little kick to them, sadly they were to spicy for my taste buds. One year when I was about 7, my family went to the Los Angeles Fair and we got a bunch of snacks. My older brother got jalapeno poppers and they sounded to crunchy and delicious that I HAD to try one. Instantaneous  LOVE. I love the crunch of the batter on the outside, the burst of spicy juices from the jalapeno and the creamy fire extinguisher of the cream cheese filling! It doesn't get better than that! Goes so well together and it's not messy, no dripping sauces all over the place, just pop em and enjoy! After that day, I conquered a jalapeno and my addiction to spicy food started. SO GOOD. Now, at 22 years old, I  have to get them every time I go to a fair!

I'm from Germany and I love corn dogs since the first time I had them was when I was studying in the States. I was 23 years old by then and it was game day at my university. We had a blast this day and even our team won. So yes, this is why it was kinda special for me.

I absolutely love funnel cakes. I love them the most because it reminds me of spending time with my family. I'm a big family person, so when we do things like that it makes the moment really special. Even something as small as eating a funnel cake together. Lol

Spiral Spuds (Also called butterfly fries) Sharing these with my little sister is one of my fondest memories from Rockton Worlds Fair here in Ontario Canada. We have been going since we were little, now I am 29 and she is 21 and I can't WAIT for this year so we can share some again :) So crispy, salty and delicious.

My boyfriend and I LOVE sharing funnel cakes together. It's not something you can get everywhere so we enjoy them when we do find some. I feel less guilty about eating them when we share, and it's just a fun/ messy desert to share with someone! We have been saving up money so that we can get a lot of funnel cakes when we go to Disney World:)

Definitely corn dogs! When we were little, we looked forward to eating corn dogs because it was the only time my parents would let us eat it. It was definitely a treat an it still is! So many good memories :)

I love OC!! I am so happy you are there! Hahah now I can tell you what my favorite boardwalk food is because you'll know what I am talking about! When I was a kid and use to go down there my mom and dad would get Jillys French Fries, it brings back SO many memories! I never eat greedy food but if I was there now I would eat those fries, so many good memories over a little fry.

Taffy! Sorry Laura, not sure if you can make this but it is a love of mine. Have seen it made in the shops on the boardwalk and it is an amazing process, show and yet simple treat. Got to Luv Taffy.
