Great job... I'm doing more or less the same as you. I get itb's from an M3 E36. I'm fabricating the custom manifold now on computer. I will install it on a LHD. Step by step, I hope I can get a good result like yours. See you 👍

Why is the oil return hose pinched by the intake manifold

I know a guy there in the UK that has a set of new Cosworth high compression forged pistons for the 7M, but they are stock bore, and would work in your engine with just a light hone job.

I run a NA with big TRD cams, & 12:1 compression, and rev to 8500.

rebearing lap valves check guides one lots of times needs not even rings never use cheap rings in a 7m nrp oem type polish crank simple we over think it a lot times no lip no need a bore hone n go racing i love a broken in engine but not sloppy bores now better than new in many cases oem new is a bit tight ...some engines i seen just neeeded carbon cleaned hone/deglased new rod bearing lap vales reassemble runs stronger than A new crate one ever time
