I am guessing Gillan had no show to do that nice. Must be great for singer to know he is required to sing only one song all day and therefore can relax and let loose. I saw Purple as late as 2002 in San Antonio TX and Gillan was in great voice. Genuine badass, Mr. Ian Gillan is. Smart.
