Here’s why Lumity works so well.

Before Amity met Luz she just blindly followed everything her parents told her, only wanted to be the best at everything and hasn’t had a real friendship in a long time. But when Luz came along she became Amity’s real friend, being the best seemed less important to her and seeing Luz in danger gave her the courage to stand up to her parents.

Before Luz met Amity she didn’t understand how challenging it can be to learn new magic, she didn’t know how hard it can be to earn someone’s trust and she didn’t think she could ask someone out. But because of Amity she discovered new spells, she knows how to earn someone’s trust and she met someone that wanted to be asked out by her.

Basically they make each other’s lives better just by being in them

If you have not seen The Dragon Prince on Netflix, it is a much watch. I think the main couple Prince Callum & Rayla belong on this list. Rayla is a Moonshadow Elf that is sent to assassinate Callum's stepfather King Harrow. I also think that the relationships between King Harrow and Queen Sarai deserve a shout out as they both gave their lives (though at different times and in different ways) for their families, and General Amaya (Queen Sarai's sister) and Lieutenant Gren. Amaya is deaf and Gren interprets for her, so they are together all the time. The story is written and illustrated so well that you can just see the feelings these two are trying to deny (though the last few episodes of season 3 seem to be hinting that they are going to get together.)
