It would be good to do a "reset" on the powercreep. But I really am not sure how the best way to go on about this would be, it sounds really complicated.

How to deal with power creep: don't make Titans, Colossals, Hero cards and Quests so insanely overpowered. They might sell well but they alone lift the bar of playable cards too high.

3:13 OBJECTION!!! The objection secret for mage is relevant to this day on both formats. Players who pull them out of packs can and should use them.

It genuinely needs an over haul. I've left standard and begun getting disengaged since and expansion or two ago. This is the first expansion I haven't even wasted gold on.

The lack of tools to encourage versatility is the biggest issue. The ladder is predictable and set by net decking, it's a game of rock, paper, scissors because the devs insist on making something with limited flexibility that has too big a focus on synergy. You're either aggro and cheating small cards, scaling in a time window for mid game or combo decking.

Theres no fun when a strategy game has no strategic variation. You know when you see even an opposition player class, what deck they're playing and whether you can beat it the moment you see their opening hand.

It has no potential for fun, no variety, people got bored, and bored watching people play.

Power creep isn't the problem, it's a symptom of overly restrictive design thats added too much flavour to keep people's interest expansion after expansion. You need to change the battlefield itself. It's not going stale, it dead and needs a ground up overhaul with some vision.

Thanks for another wonderful video. I'm wondering if you can shed light on the best way to open packs as it relates to "guaranteed legendaries;" that is, after a certain number of packs without receiving a legendary card, the game makes sure you get one. I have had a number of standard packs in my queue (from XP, etc.) alongside packs I have purchased (usually Badlands or Titans packs, in this case). Twice now, I have opened the standard packs first and received a legendary - only to have my other packs contain none. Are the "guaranteed legendaries" shared across all pack types, or are they specific to each expansion and I have just gotten unlucky? I didn't want to open the Badlands packs first, for example, if I'm still counting toward my "quota" and then end up with a legendary from the Standard packs. But it seems it has worked against me in the very way I did not want it to. Hope that isn't too confusing.

I was fully expecting one of the twist formats to force players to include a certain number of cards from the newest pack (like in the pre-release streams). This way if a card isn't powerful enough for standard, it could see play in twist. Could have been a way to address the power creep.

They could even let players put in 5-10 wild cards if they want dedicated players to spend dust without alienating the mode.

Pity timer is guaranteed first 10 packs. So why does 1st and 2nd till 5th pack have higher dust value than 6th-10th pack?

ะะฒั‚ะพั€

Maybe you guys should take into account the refund value of recently nerfed cards as freebies in terms of set usefulness. For example in maw and disorder you said Sylvanas is the only useful legendary but at this moment in time both The Jailer and Nathanos are disenchantable for full dust value, making 3/4 of the legendaries useful by making two of them basically a legendary of your choice.

Guys wich are the best expansions and packs for an only rogue player returning to game? Lf standard format

I think people get too fixated on making a boogeyman out of the concept of power creep when in the end, itโ€™s as inevitable and natural as the sun rising and setting.

Itโ€™s a digital card game, you have so many advantages to ensure that people donโ€™t feel frustrated by bad card design and hearthstone at times seems to forget this or simply doesnโ€™t know how to use their advantages effectively or theyโ€™re comprised because of other goals in mind (monetization)

I am a returning player after 3 years or something like that. I used to play since beta. And I am overwhelmed by all the stuff and all the packs and minisets and rotations and formats. How tf am I supposed to get back into the game? Send help.

Is it wort to buy miniset (2000 gold) for dust? It feels like yes, but I want to know master opinion.

I missed if you mention if the benefit factor cares about wild cards. Thanks like always!

ะะฒั‚ะพั€

All of this depends on players judging which cards are gonna see play and which not. Good luck with that. Even pro players aren't that good at predicting the meta game. And honestly Hearthstone is cheaper than it has ever been. If you just buy the prerelease bundle and spend the gold you've collected since the last release on packs (plus any minisets, adventures etc) you're pretty much set to have have every single card you'll need to play all 11 classes.

Its fun. :) Yogg kekw

Thanks for the information dear friends, I'm currently building a nice collection of cards focusing Paladin class for wild format, and having a great time with paladin cards from the titans set. Titans 80%~, Sunken City 40%~, and then later expansions 38%~ or less of completion rate. Buyed Titans Mini Set.
I'm vary tempted on buying Catch up packs + Newer expansion set with gold, but also i was wondering about starting building more decks for wild format on Priest and Hunter Class. I would very grateful if you and recommend me a certain course of action.
