The key is consistency and to go a decent pace but not too fast. Even though the child was super light she showed it perfectly. She didn't slow down, kept her pace, even footing and stayed just behind the ridge from the wave she was creating.

So what’s happening on the bridge is that since it’s in water, the entire things moves when the person on it moves and every step causes ripples/ shifts in momentum across the bridge.
So according to Newton’s third law, when the person pushes down or forward with their foot, the platform pushes back and may move and bounce. Also if the person’s center of gravity goes outside their base( their feet), they’re likely to trip over and fall.
Less friction means more slipping ( and it’s water) so the person must be slow and careful. Weight is also a major contributing factor as according to Newton’s second law, the more mass the person has, the more force they apply when they accelerate. So since the little girl has less mass, she puts less force and can accelerate faster. But for the person walking on the bridge, they must be mindful about the following to get to the end without stumbling-
Slow and steady wins the race
Knees slightly bent to keep the center of mass low and absorb the motion of the bridge better.
Arms out for balance.
Look ahead, not down!
Step in the centre of the bridge.
Light feel, no jumping!
