Karnataka assembly polls: Rahul Gandhi vows to fulfill 5 promises Congress made in election rallies

After winning a decisive victory in the Karnataka Assembly elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has vowed to implement the five guarantees that were part of the party's manifesto in the first Cabinet meeting itself. The five guarantees include- Free bus rides to women, Rs 2,000 per month to women head of families, Rs 3,000 unemployment allowance to graduates, Rs 1,500 allowance to diploma holders, 10 kg of rice and 200 units of free power to every household every month. Gandhi said that the Congress party is committed to fulfilling its promises to the people of Karnataka and that the five guarantees are a step in that direction. He also said that the party will work to improve the lives of all the people of Karnataka and to make the state a better place to live. The Congress party's victory in Karnataka is also a major boost for Rahul Gandhi, who is seen as the party's future leader. Dude Karnataka is in debt as it is and you wanna increase it by giving out freebies? It would estimate to at least 62000 crores in giving out freebies which is almost 20% of Karnataka’s budget. This money should instead be spent in creating employment by building new infrastructure or even improving the previous infrastructure.

Look at countries which have developed in span of 40-50 years, they have not wasted resources in just feeding their population rather they have made them work hard to become self capable and contribute in nations growth. Now time has come to prove India's strength and we have a dedicated leader but we the people of India are busy in searching whic all freebies we can get, how to escape from paying tax, how to make easy money without working hard and so on
