SaaS Explainer Video Animation Breakdown | After Effects 2D 3D Animation

We made a breakdown for our SaaS character animation, "More time for you." We were able to utilize mixed media with both 2D and 3D in our professional explainer video.

There was a lot that went on behind the scenes, everything from rigging arm moments in Duik, all the way to animating butterflies in Cinema 4D!

Looking back at our previous endeavors, our videos are packed with animation but not too many characters or complex visuals. Starting from scratch with all the knowledge and experience we gathered, we set out to make the best 2D character-based animation to date.

The raison d’etre for this project was to evolve every single part of the video. It’s as if we’re a band and this is our concept album. A lot of our previous projects felt pretty corporate to us, so we thought it’d be fun if we changed it up a bit. At one point we even envisioned the video to be a humorous telenovela spoof with the entire video in Spanish.

It’s apparent that we still have a lot more to learn, and we will never back down from a challenge. This was our best work yet, but then again, we say that for just about every video we do. And we intend to keep it that way.
