My first sale was such a learning experience! I went in expecting to sell nothing because I was scared but motivated to get the first one done. My camera fell, I stumbled over my words...it was hilarious! I'm glad it's done...so now I'm learning by warching...thinking about how to set things up better, and make sure I have something to and sell. Not as scared now and looking forward to having fun

Yea my first auction I gain about 19 followers (which was awesome). And I made the same mistake you did, listed higher end items with the bidding starting at $1 and was getting 1-3 bids. So, I lost big time on it. Next auction I do, I’ll put the higher end items on my market place, and auction off the lower end stuff, at least until I build a following big enough so there will be more bids. Thanks for the advice.

I appreciate your input. I just did my first whatnot auction. For the first 5 minutes I was the only one in there. I then had a total of 3 people and ended up with 1. Somehow I was put in the men's category and I had mostly women. I cut it off after half an hour. I gained a follower and some feedback about how I was doing. I'll try again. Hopefully in the right section.

I think you definitely handled it better than most people and for your first time you going to make mistakes but I definitely know you're going to do it better the second time around

Thanks for that information about your first time experience. I'm currently not a seller or buyer yet. I gotta get more information together as to when I can. Plus a shed that needs to be cleaned out and organized, so looks like spring time.

I wondered about the paper shipping labels when i received my items. 🤣 Good video and good advice!! My first 2 shows i wasn't very organized and also only made about 9 sales total so i kinda got scared from selling on there for a bit. But i'm going to have an inventory posted for the next show ahead of time and get back at it.
