One of my favorite characters on SCTV was her Pirini Scleroso, the lady in the scarf who was trying to learn English. Andrea Martin is genius at comedy.

I've loved Andrea Martin for decades. SCTV was always so much funnier than SNL and she's funnier than 90% of the females that have been on SNL. I don't know why we don't see her more in the states.
